There have been a few events during the last few weeks with both showjumpers an eventers competing.

Rambo went to Quirindi with Christine Bates as a lead up event to Melbourne 3 day event and ran 3rd in the CNC**. Rambo did a solid test, XC clear and under time, but had 2 rails to have to settle for 3rd place after leading the field after XC. Nevetheless its a work in progress and he was amongst some top riders and their 3 and 4*** horses.

Next was the Eventing Equestriad at Camden where Rambo was leading the field inthe CIC** on a great score of 44.4. With no room for error the pressure was on to SJ well. He jumped super and just had an unlucky rail at the 4th fence, but went on to jump the rest of the course faultless. He was in 2nd place going into the XC and although XC and time is not an issue for the little speedy rocket, Christine intended to give him a 'schooling' round XC as this was his last event before heading to Melbourne 3 day. Rambo jumped clear XC but added 2.8 time penalties to his final score taking him to 4th place overall as the scores were very tight. Belinda Isbister on Holy Bruce won the class with Shane Rose and Virgil close behind.

Team Kitara also went to Mamgrove Mountain Jump Club yesterday to get the horses in the right frame of mind for the Camden Jumping Festival in 2 weeks time. So Ari and Veuve went and jumped super rounds. Veuve jumping a clear round at 90cm and just 1 rail in the 105cm. Ari as usual jumping great clear rounds all day
