Kitara Lodge is buzzing with riders and horses all over.
We welcome new clients Michelle Clinch and her Ferrero Rocher gelding, Frankie who enjoy dressage. We also welcome back Peej Kingston and her Pre-Novice horse, Kip who has been on a holiday in Victoria whilst Peej went and got married- congratulations!! Kip also featured in some of Peej's wedding photos- stunning!
We also like to welcome WA World Cup young rider Evie Buller and her team of horses to the Lodge. Evie is basing at Kitara Lodge as she is re-locating to the East for the upcoming World Cup runs. Her 3 horses, Landor, Charlie and new pony Chiquita are enjoying their stay.
We also have Rachel Wills and her pregnant mare Elle arriving shortly to foal down in the capable hands of the Kitara Lodge staff aswell as current resident Gisela (bautiful imported dressage mare in foal to overseas Sandro Hit stallion, Scolari), owned by Barbara Hansen who will also be foaling down in a couple of months.
To continue with the broodmares we also have Holly (owned by Marina) who will be arriving shortly to be put in foal to Budweiser and stay until foaling in 2013.
Kitara Lodge does not have any mares due to faol down this year as we have elected to take the year off breeding and waiting for our up and coming Budweiser fillies to be old enough to put into foal to some exciting sires.
On another welcoming note we also wish to welcome newest staff member Shaani Monson, who has travelled down from QLD with her horse Mozzie to live and work with us at Kitara Lodge. She is a fantatstic hand around the place and loves all the horses dearly with my beloved 'Chops' being the clear favourite ![]()
The next events are:
Northside Jump Club where Alfie will attend his 2nd outing in the 55cm and Chandy going on her first outing in the 55cm aswell.
After that will be the SSJC Mid year Championships where team Kitara will travel with Veuve in the 4 year old class aswell as the 100cm class, Alfie and Chandy will also travel along and do the 60cm classes for training. Evie will also head to the SSJC Mid Year Champs and head off to QLD for the north show run the following week.
